W.D. Hitches....Equal vs Husky vs Eaz.... "UPDATED"
Equalizer 1400 vs Husky CenterLine 1400 vs Eaz Trekker 1200
They all seem very similar......
At first glance and watching the video's I really like the Husky Centerline.
But the Equalizer is crazy popular....
And the Eaz trekker looks like a real good design.
They all have 4 point resistance.....
Do you guys have any experience with these?
Thanks, Robert.

Please see post #18 on this topic, Thanks.
Not sure on that but.....
The three models that I have posted above all have a very different head assembly with very different mechanisms
that create the sway tension.
I'm guessing that the Husky Centerline and the Eaz Trekker are too new and not many folks know about them.
We have always used WD hitch with load bars chain and friction sway.
I am pretty confident I setup my Equalizer correctly but won't know til I get a tow in.

Thank you but I have seen the Equalizer in person. Just a bolt and a nut up front to make tension on the bars.
Everyone LOVES their Equalizer..... I understand that.
I am trying to see if anyone has the Husky Centerline or the EAZ Trekker. Those two are kinda new in the field with new and very different mechanisms than the Equalizer which just has a bolt and a nut up front vs the other two.
I'm just trying to learn the final, big picture, if there are differences on all three.
Thanks again everyone.

OK, not owned by Reese but MANY of today's hitches have a parent company called Cequent. Here's their web site: Cequent Group
Reese, DrawTite, Hidden Hitch and ? are all under their umbrella.

Not sure that is related to my question.... Please explain.
""Not sure what you mean by a nut and bolt up front to make tension???""
However... you are talking about the rear of the set-up.
What I mean is... Up Front....at the head unit... There is "just" a bolt and a nut holding that bar on (up front) and Equalizer the company stated that, that there is their front tension point.... Like you said "Very simple design".
The other 2 brands "Husky Centerline and the Eaz Trekker" have very different mechanisms (up front) than the Equalizer which just has a bolt and a nut up front vs the other two.
Check out those two and you will see what I am talking about.
That is what I am asking...... does anyone have the EAZ Trekker or the Husky CenterLine hitches on their trailers?
I've used the equalizer personally in the past when I wanted a premium wd. Currently I use the Husky cheapie round bar set up w a friction sway controller. Our trailer is a 27'.
The time used the Equilizer was a toy hauler and that was prior to the centerline coming out.
The Equilizer has "4 point sway control." It is the pressure the bolts put on the reciever pockets and the l brackets for the bars. They have been along forever and everybody loves them who has them.
I like the Centerline better because while it still has bars riding on the L brackets there is constant pressure from the compression cylinders "centering the trailer" behind the tow vehicle.
If I go with another unit that is a premium setup, it would be the Husky Centerline. But I really like my cheapie setup just fine.
Fwiw I don't sell online, nor do I ship product out.

Thank you.....
I wish I could see the Husky CenterLine in action to see how well that head unit works.
