I am wanting to replace the back window of my '95 XLT longbed; I was considering a sliding glass rear window but last night I wondered if anyone has ever tried adapting the rear window glass and window motor/regulator from a Bronco.
i have never seen this done with the bronco glass. would take some real engineering. the only real drawback would be water leaking into the back of the cab past the seals. i did however see a electric sliding rear window in a 96 super cab once. i have only seen 1 and am not even sure who made it.

I remember driving an Explorer Sportrac which had a back window that rolled down as well...

Power sliding back window introduced in 1981 F150/350 Super Cabs, available thru 1996, thru 1997 F250/350's.
But, it was not available for Super Cabs with the rear bench seat.
That video is really cool. I am not a fan of how it looks on the inside though. It would be easy enough to "finish" it off though... Thanks for posting that. I got some thinking to do again...
If the temperature is above 60 and I'm in my obs that sliding rear window will be open and it's actually the only truck I have with a rear slider. But I want that sliding down rear window even though they are impossible to find. Those kids playing with it going up and down though . I think there's still a company (c.r.laurence maybe?) that makes a power slider and that's what I'll probably go with because it's kind of a b**** to reach all the way back in a crew cab to open it.
Once your carpet is always wet and the window jams up the novelty wears off pretty quick
I'm thinking that if you can use all the inner workings of a Bronco rear window, i.e. the factory window switch, regulator, motor, guides, and a modified F150 fixed glass, it should be do-able....
