E150 trailer connector help

Hello all

I recently bought a 1995 Club Wagon , an E150 with 5.8 v8 motor. The Ford dealer looked the vin up for me and tells me it has the factory tow package.

I need to tow a small trailer soon so I need to find out what I need to connect the 4 wire trailer connector to the truck side. The car I used for this was wrecked and my new used car is a 1998 ford taurus. I was advised not to tow with that.

The connector looks to have 6 flat pins and a center terminal.

I looked under the truck for a 4 wire connector but couldn't find one.

There is also a connector near the trailer wiring connector that looks like a two flat blade connector. Any ideas what that is for ?

It has over 250,000 miles on it so I dont expect to pull much weight but its going to be short trips with maybe 1200 pounds on the trailer.

thanks.

Can you post a picture of it? Usually you can buy a wiring harness tee splice (not the real name) that will fit between a connector in the rear harness.
