I'm thinking on selling my 4x4? I don't really want to, but I might? It depends, on close I can get to what I have in it? I know, I will never get what I have in it. Give me your opinions of what these trucks are worth. KBB says $7432? PSSSHHHHHD! I know its worth more than that. Here is the scoop on the truck. I bought it 2 years ago, with 189,000 and some change on it, for $6000. It had been drivin mildly by an older guy. It has one small dent in the right rear QP just ahead of the tail light. Says he jackknifed his trailer backing it. I have maintained the hell out of it.. I take it to Diesel Dynamics here in Joshua, anytime anything goes wrong with it. hence, I will never get out of it what I have in it! Good shop, just its expensive to take one of these to the shop.. It now has 249,000+ on it. Here is what I have had done to it. Front end rebuilt completely. New cab bushings, Stage 2 injectors, 6 position chip, Gauge pillar with Pyro, Boost, Water Temp, by Glowshift. New fuel pump, New head gaskets and glowplugs, new thermostat. Just had new tires put on it again, 1000 miles ago. BF's I think that's about it. Runs like a bat out of hell. It has never been driving that way. I am 46 myself, and not into hotrodding. They put the injectors in there, so I could pull a trailer better. It is a crew cab, 4x4, all power. White, with ranch hands front and back. By friends wife says the truck is "All *****" Lol
But y would you sell it?
I honestly can not even think about letting mine go.it would be a nightmare I could not wake up from. I have had dreams where I sold it and woke up in a cold sweat only to go out to the shop to hug the ol dude.
Once its paid off I will NEVER ever ever ever ever have a payment on a truck again! I know that there will never be a new truck so dependable or good looking
It boggles my mind .... I would not trade it straight up for any new truck.I know I may be chastized for that but its true.
If you sell it and its rust free and clean other than that one dent I would think you would be in the 9-10 k range at least.maybe I'm crazy...OK...I AM.

LOL, I hear ya. But I have a dually also. And, "I'm thinking on selling"! I do love no payments. I do love these old 7.3's my self. I have buddies with 6.0's and 6.4's and such. Fast as hell, but allways working on them. LOL I always tell them when you blow your gasket, Call me. I'll bring my tow rope!
I wouldn't give you more than 10k for the truck just because of the high milage and you can find lesser milage trucks for less
Thats around what i was thinking actually. But 250 on one of these is not high mileage. Ive seen them down here kick up 14 on craigs list with comparable mileage. And condition. I got a buddy with one, that has 750,000+ still goin strong. He took care or it.
The lack of 4wd would worry me. Not that you may need it that bad...I'm just special like that.
I think it's part of the unknown. Like. I wonder what's up there, or look, I can make it through that . Also I am not a fan of getting stuck in my driveway. Lol

I agree with the nightmare thing the only difference is I lost my truck in a strange place and can't find it and then wake up and go check on my truck. These are classic trucks and I know there's a lot out there but this one that I've got is all mine.

Personally i would never buy a truck with over 200k and plan on keeping it. YES the engine will go a long time but the rest of the truck does not
