I bought a 1970 F-100 that needs a fender, hood, grill, and front bumper (Apparently it ran over a Hyundai). I figured I'd hang out here and see if I can pick up any pointers.

BTW, my name is Dan. Hello!

well parts from a 67-72 will fit, 100 or 250. Junk yards are a good place to start if you just want someting to get you around (or over those pesky Hyundis)

Welcom Dan! Nice year...I saw a truck of this era in a Victorville junkyard. I can't remember the name of the place or the street name though. It's on a remote section of road situated in a wash... This was a several months ago, so the truck is probably history by now, but then again, maybe not. At the time, it had good fenders, hood, doors. The grill was gone.

You'll pick up a lot of pointers here too, and quick .

Keep an eye on www.ebay.com and search for your year and model.

Hi Dan and welcome to the site!

Where in SoCal are you? I know a yard in Orange County that has a lot of '67 - '72 trucks.

Thanx for the replies, guys! I appreciate your input.

BB, I'm in Victorville. I just moved up here in april of this year, so I'm not too familliar with the area (I'm origionally from Bakersfield).
