EDIT: I found the weight of a Semi-Float Sterling, 258lbs.

Everything I found for the 8.8 puts it right near 180lbs.

I bet if I did the disc conversion, the 10.25 could be within 75lbs of the 8.8... I could deal with only gaining that, especially since Ill probably be dropping that by going to the 33's and lighter wheels from my fat 33's and 80's mags.

I dunno where the semi floater loses 50-60 lbs of weight over the full floater but that's the weight I've read as well.

I beat on a semi for years, but only with a 302. It held up, but I'm not a fan of c clips for more than 1 reason, and axle taking all the load.

Light loads of a bronco shouldn't be a problem at all with stress of that form.
