Unhappy Rhino Damage

I had a Rhino Liner put in and it looks like they got some kind of white drying liquid on my tail lights. I can't get it off no matter how hard I scrub. Anyone else seen this or know what it is. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow.

Well I have no idea what it is, but I would let the dealer know that it was not there when you took it in, and was there after. I know when I got over spray on my truck, I took it back to the dealer, and they took it off with not questions asked. If they want a good word going around, then they should fix the problem.

Rhino Damage

When I had my Rhino installed there was overspray all over my truck. It took about a year for it to all come off, a couple months and it was off the glass. I have had mine for over 8 years and love it still even though I though my whole truck was ruined from the over spray. I had a rubber bed mat in my pickup and just through it back in over the Rhino lining, it still looks brand new under there. It hasn't come off anywhere, I haven't had any chip off down to the metal either. From what I have seen on other rigs with other bed liners I made a great choice getting the Rhino.

Appex what you may be seeing on your tail lights is chemical melting of the plastic. If the bed liner installer rubbed down the bed with Acetone and happened to even barely graze those tail light lenses you are going to have a white or cloudy appearance in the shape of a wipe action. Unfortunately this is next to impossible to correct short of replacing the lens. However, if the area affected is nice and flat then you can buy some plexiglass polish and use a right angle die-grinder with a buffing pad on it to polish out the chem burn provided it isn't to bad.

Just had mine done the other day on my new truck by my neibor that ownes a rhino shop and there was the same overspray in several places, When I showed it to him he used denatured alchohol to remove it and it looks fine now.
