2015 F450 Firestone Air Bags

I am looking at the Firestone # 2442 rear air bag kit that mounts on the outside of the frame. Any one using this kit? They list a #88396 kit thats mounted on the inside too. Depending on who you look at , apps stop at 2014.Not getting much feedback from Firestone.

Since the '15 F450 has the bigger rear axle, I think if a kit worked for an '08-'10 F450 then it MAY work on the '15 but there are no guarantees to that. I can say that the '11-'14 F450 kit will most likely NOT work.

So you are saying that Ford had big rear axles in 08 to 10 F450's , went smaller from 11 to 14 and big again in 15 ?
This truck rear makes my 06 F350 rear look like belonged in a 1/2 ton.

Have not found much on the 2015 F450 pickup air bag kits. Looks like I will try the Firestone 2442 kit and plan on modifying the upper bracket to work with the factory bed hitch so I can minimize drilling the frame.

Call Firestone and ask them directly. Sometimes the catalog doesn't list every vehicle. Also, take a look at AirLift and PacBrake airbags. Not enough difference between them all to worry about. I have Firestones too, but only because they were on sale at the time. I would've bought either one of the other two without reservation.

I emailed Firestone over a week ago with no response Have to call. Thanks for mentioning Pacbrake. They never came up on my search. Even thou its a inside kit ,the HP10187 kit showed the bottom bracket on the 08 square axle housing like mine. Going to have a dual needle gauge to monitor/adjust the bags.

Forgot to add pic of the bed hitch bracket. Should not be hard to modify the upper bag bracket to this.

I have the dual pneumatic gauge from Firestone on mine and love it. Can adjust either side to balance an off center weight if needed.

I called both Firestone and Air lift today and both companies have a kit in testing right now. Air lift will most likely be inside the frame. Did not ask Firestone that but they said Ford did not announce the square tube rear housing F450 until it was on the assembly line. Both should be out by Sept.- Oct.
In contrast, Kelderman's 4 link air suspension is already out. If I drove this truck a lot thats what I would go with.
