Hi everyone this is my first post. I have a 95 f150 with 5.0 and eaod. It has 99k miles. It has no power under load. I have replaced plugs and wires. Rotor and cap. It ha s no check engine light on. When hooked to my boat it pulls it with overdrive switched off but shifts funky and it has slipped a few times when shifting but only when it's been ran several miles. With out a load it seems to run fine although it's no hot rod. But it won't pull boat up a boat ramp. It feels like it's in 2nd or 3 rd gear it just bogs down. I checked the tps and it checks ok. I think it might have a small vacuum leak some where as the ac switched from dash to floor to defrost going down the highway. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I need to fix this myself financially.
Sounds like you used a multimeter to eliminate the TPS and that's a good start...........since it's an AODE (electronic) it's likely a sensor (e.g. VSS, Transmission Range (MLPS), etc) or internal damage ---when did you change the fluid/pull the pan last?
