okay......stupid question...how do you go about removing the old badge.

Now that we have summer heat and sunshine I just parked my truck in the afternoon with the tailgate facing west. About an hour later I just picked a corner and it pulled the flexfuel one right off. Just rubbed the double sided tape off with my thumb and last little bit of residue off with wd-40 on a paper towel.
I used the 5.0 emblem from the Mustang on the lower front edge of the driver's and passenger's door. It has 2 locating pegs on the back that you have to trim off down to flush. Also, the "dot" or "point" was red, so I painted over it in black to better match the color scheme of my truck
Here are two that I purchased one to replace the Tailgate badge and installed one at the bottom of the My Ford Sync screen, the other two went below the Ford F150 Badges, will try to get some pics on the truck.
