can anyone tell me the proper (and easiest) way to get the driver's side door panel off without breaking any of the plastic clips on the inside of the panel? I know there is a screw behind the reflector on the bottom of the door, are their any others that I haven't found yet? and what about the arm rest w/power windows/locks/mirrors on it? any info appreciated
thanks
The power window/doorlock panel pops out. Just pull up. This is a screw located in there as well. As for the door panel itself, just pull up then out to avoid breaking the tabs (i broke one when i took it off).
Do not just pull up on the power window/door lock assy. The front pops up and the back is hooked under the door panel so it needs to be slid forward and up after the front is popped up. If you pull up on the back by mistake you will brake the piece that hooks under the door panel/arm rest.
Also the piece where the wing window would be must be removed.
Once you get the screws push up do not pull out or you will do like I did and break a tab. I do not remember where all the screws are but if any force is needed to push the pannel up and off you missed one.
