Some of the guys in the 7.3 diesel section are looking to do a group buy on Redhead Steering Gearboxes. I'm justing checking in here to see what the interest is so that we can do a coordinated group buy to hit the magic number of 36 pieces. If we hit 36 pieces or more then it is $60 discount on parts over $300 and $50 discount on parts under $300.
Lets get the ball rolling on this. Post up if you are in.
I'm gonna give this 2-3 weeks to gauge interest and collect a list of interested buyers. Once we have a solid list, then I'll schedule our three day buying window with Redhead Steering. Unfortunately it is only a 3 day window to buy at this discount once we are scheduled. If we do not meet the 36 pieces requirement then I'll check with all interested parties if they would like to continue at a lower discount.
I'll keep a list of "ins" for this section here.

Installed my redhead last month. It is a great improvement. Readhead is a great company to do business with. The first gearbox they sent out had damaged steering shaft splines. Took pictures and emailed them and withing 30 minutes I received a phone call. Readhead sent a new box overnight and paid shipping both ways.
Doh, I would be so in if the dollar didn't suck so bad! Paying an extra 20% in exchange fees and then another 13% in import charges/taxes is a real kick in the boys.
A redhead is in order especially after that little foray into the ditch at 80 mph. About 5-6 inches of play in the steering now. Someday!
Good luck with the group buy dudes, hopefully you get enough guys!
