electric booster fan
Just installed an electric booster fan for my 1992 Aerostar.
It took a little engineering, retrofit and a lot of care not damaging other things! The biggest size I could install was a 12" fan, but it makes a huge difference in cooling while in stop and go on Sunrise Blvd, in FLL, Florida.
Oh by the way Aerostar owners, A BIG WORD OF ADVICE!
If your Van is equipped with AC, check to make sure that there is some kind of foam or plastic frame around the edges between the AC condensor, and radiator! It makes a huge improvement in cooling efficiency. Also look and inspect your condensor and remove bugs and debris trapped in the core fins. That clogs the condensor and significantly reduces cooling efficiency, and may lead to overheating with the AC on. To clean the condensor core, take a tooth brush, and gentle water from a garden hose taking care not to bend the fins in. NEVER, REPEAT NEVER use a high pressure sprayer in close proximity of the condensor or radiator!!! You risk the danger of puncturing it!
Just my two cents:
