A-Pillar trim replacement

Left A-pillar blew off at 75mph. Right side is loose and rubbed paint off hood. If I buy just the cover, does it snap on or do I need special clips? Don't want to buy the lower $111 mounting piece unless I have to. Willing to just glue and/or screw it on as well.
If anyone has some tips that would be great/ thanks

Safelite replaced mine with the windshield. Apparently they are not meant to be reused. They put aftermarket on and they bubbled up first day it broke 80 degrees. Make sure you replace it with OEM parts. I made them come back with OEM parts and do it again. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to how they installed them.

Update on this, was able to get collision shop to buy/install missing parts and fix paint. They in turn charged auto glass company who failed to replace lower mounting plate when they did windshield. So as mentioned above, cannot reuse lower, must replace if cover removed for whatever reason.
