Question about rear end?
I took my 6.0 psd to the shop with a small leak coming from thew rear end. They said it was a front pinion seal on the rear end that was bad. So they fixed it and the leak was fine. Then this morning i get in my truck to go to work and start heading down the highway and when i let off the pedal i started hearing a grinding noise coming from the rear end or drive shaft. The noise keeps getting worse. Now it does it every time i let off the gas. I called my dealer and he said the rear end was probably bad. They are going to check it out tomorrow. The problem wouldnt be because i have put a 6" suspension on the truck with 36" tires would it? My service guy says he will service it even though it has a lift but i was just wondering incase they cannot fix the proble would I be able to file for a lemon law act? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot TODD
