1saxman I bet you have not even drove a 2015 F150! I have and own one! It is the best riding and is the most solid Ford pickup I have ever drove. The cab is very quiet. My truck took 8 weeks to get and it was worth it. I have friends who have ordered trucks and they are taking longer and longer to get.I had a 2012 F150 Lariet/FX4 loved it but it does not compare to the 2015! I bought it with the plow set up,getting to old to set on a tractor anymore. I bought a extended warranty bumper to bumper for 100,000 miles and 7 years. Any of you guys go drive a 2015 it will change your minds a think about buying one!I bought the XLT/Sport/FX4 package. The only thing I really wanted and could not get was power fold and power telescoping towing mirrors. They only can come on the Lariet and up.I did NOT want leather.

I have driven all new '15s with every engine available. ......it's a bit delusional to try and say there is such a vast difference in the '15s vs the last Era......hell they even look very similar sans the tailgate and front end ........I'm not knocking em I like em too but to act the new '15s are sooooooo much better is a bit much

They are hugely better than my "last era" truck. (See my sig.)

I also drove every model I could but only a test drive. I did not spend a lot of time in the vehicle. After driving my new truck I started noticing a lot of differences. The radio/navigation and heating and cooling layout is closer than my 2012 was and you do not have to lean forward to operate them. I am 5'11' and do set back away from the dash. The dash is higher and the windshield lays back even moreand has a cut out above the rear view mirror. The cab seams to be larger as it does have as much room as my nephews 2014 F250 supercrew cab. There is more storage at the drivers reach and the passenger has more storage above the glove box and next to the seat left side. There is more room behind the rear seats. The amp is behind the right rear seat ,which was under the right rear seat. the steering wheel is at the top of the dash ,not in the middle of the gauges. the sport cloth is very nice. So far i am getting 18.9 miles per gallon for highway and city driving after 1300 miles. I am waiting for someone to make stainless headers for the 2015 5.0. take a 2015 F150 home for the weekend and you will like the difference. I did order it with the towing mirrors with heat. i wish the would offer power fold and telescoping in the XLT/FX4 package. I like the power heated sliding window.
