Rear Pinion Angle
Hey fellas, i am installing a different rear end (9 inch)in my 53 and have had to cut off the spring perches as to location and weld them on top of the axle to match my old 9 inch.My question is I took my old 9 inch out and took measurements as to the perches and pinion angle with the perches level and found a .10 degree angle upward on the pinion at level.Can I use this same angle and perch location for the new shorer 9 inch I am putting in and does this sound right?? Thanks DJ ps the new rear is shorter due to the vehicle I found it in.
