5.4 2004 engine replaced with 2005 engine

I recently came across and bought a 2005 5.4 triton engine and transmission with 103,000 miles on them, the truck was side swiped causing damage to the frame. I am asking, should I leave both engine and transmission together and install them or just remove my engine and install the 2005 engine. I think I got a fairly good deal on both, $1800.00. I heard the engine run, no ticking noise.
Should I anticipate problems installing the 2005 inside the 2004 body? I also got the computer module. Thanks for any help or comments!!!

How many miles on your transmission?

It'll be a "best guess" as to which is the best one, but at least you'll have a "backup".
