Question Which should I do??

My daily driver BII got a bent spring on the left rear and a week one on the right.I have a parts BII that has good springs and has the same gear as my daily driver.Should I just change the springs or would it be easer to change the hole rear end {springs and rear end}?? I'm a little on the lazy side and want to do which ever is the easiest

I think the springs would be easier since you won't have to mess with the brakes.

Definitely go springs only, your talking a lot more work to do the axle as well. Jack it up by frame. Support one side of the axle and unbolt and remove the spring and replace and then move to the other side and do the same, I have change out a lot of axles and springs and Just do the springs, trust me. And be safe, use jack stands and maybe slide your tires under the axle and frame. good luck.

I agree with bigfry the springs are definatly easier, I used to have a hot rod K5 2wd Blazer that I ate trannys and rear ends in all the time. If your play time is limted like mine you will not want to disconect the brake lines, E-brake, traction bars, and drive shaft, to simply fix a spring problem.
