I'm not on the beach but it did quit raining so I can cut my grass & the lawns I cut for friends. Some of it looks like a real good hay field. My health is much better so we are getting things done so we can move to our land. We found a nice old mobile home at a good price. It will be our home until we finish our house. I plan to hire a contractor to get our house in the dry. My wife & I will do the rest except for trades that require a license to pass inspection. We remodeled our last home before we sold it. We made a good profit in today's economy. Lisa is a great painter & a hard worker. We know take longer but we will move in a paid for home when it's done. That will be worth the hard work!

Whats up yall? Been looking at FTE for a while and just remembered there was a louisiana forum so decided to check in.
My name is greg kimble. I live in denham springs just east of baton rouge. Only about ten minutes from the bass pro shops at exit 10 on I-12.
I drive a late `99 f250 cc 4x4 with the 7.3 I bought about 4.5 years ago from the wifes uncle. This is my first diesel so I been on here learning stuff since I do all my own wrenching. Just put new wheel bearing asmly. on both front sides yesterday.
Ford pride, we aint too far from each other. I used to hang out in gross tette when my buddies lived out there. You ever been to the buck horn? back in the day. I`m 47 btw, that was over 20 years ago.

I never been. I spent most of my teenage years and what free time I have now at the drag strip. A couple weeks ago I picked up a 05 2wd single cab 6.0 that I'm starting to build a drag truck out of.

Thanks Pat. It will work out. I'm sick of paying rent so we are buying something instead. Missed the one we liked but that happens. The air will be finished in my shop tomorrow. I am waiting on my septic system man to get it installed. I have a full bath, washer dryer hookup & kitchen area in the shop.Once the plumbing is done, we will be moving to the shop till we find something. I want this rent money to become home building money.
