We didn't think we did until the big storms in 2006...then we watched our back yard float into the Big Blue River. Since we weren't expecting anything like that and it happened so fast we didn't have any time to prepare for it. It was sad, I lost a half dozen gold fish larger than my hand from our garden pond. "Fortunately", my outdoor dog Chyna, died a couple days before the storm hit. At least she didn't drown in the flood.
