Hey Guys, Have the New REVO's on.. First comment My wife had was" can feel every bump and doesnt steer as easy" Im like sure it doesnt steer as Easy it actually has tread.. but the rough part, guessing Air pressure, What do you Run in the front and rear on your expys with these tires? They had apout 40 pounds in them.. so Cureious as to where they should be.. Thanks
If you bought the same size tire that were on your Expy as stock I would go with the tire pressures on the side of the driver's door. For my 99 EB it's 30 front and 35 rear psi. I think it was BigMatt that said he run 5lbs higher in front and rear. I have yet to play with the pressure in mine.
I noticed my Expy seemed hard to turn at lower speeds with the stock tires but with the new tires it got much easier. I am not sure if it was the tread design, the fack that I went with a street tire rather than an AT tire or the rubber compound.
But I am one size larger 255 vs 265 16.. thats why Im curious as to what pressure to run.. I dropped the front to 35 and that helped a good bit.. think the rear at 35 would be o.k also?
I would say the rear is good at 35. That's what I am running mine at and they seem to ride ok.
I got 305/60R17 or something like that on mine. They are a might bit wider but the compliments have already started coming in. They ride great and have stopped 75% of the dreaded body lean on turns.
I don't have the REVO's but do have the Dueler AT's. I had to "play around" with my pressure to find a comfort spot. I'm in the mid 30's. 40 psi sounds really high to me unless you're really loaded.
