yeah, and every year "to-present" gets bigger! you should get points for keeping the older ones in good shape, especially if you actually drive it.

Third place truck...so much Murica...




Second place truck. He's got more money under his hood than I have in my whole ride.

 

third place guy's playing to a specific audience and making a statement. not a fan of that kind of thing in a competition like this. He certainly has that right, though. 2nd place is a nice truck. hard to compete when your budget can't match.

 

Yeah, third place clearly did that. I think you can accomplish the same thing and be better done, as well. Up close, that truck was done pretty poorly in my estimation. But, the people thought enough of it to vote for it...so...is what it is.

I think next year, the tOwBS needs to go down to that show and straighten a b#tch out....lol.

Actually, both are showing up in August. The OBS will bring the Bull in on a trailer. Not showing both, but I figure why not take advantage of having a tow rig so I don't have to move the Bull once it's there.

 

good idea. i think i'll be there for Saturday, but not overnight. I'll try to meet up with you this year. I just couldn't find you last year for some reason, and the guys I came with wanted to get out of there.

 

is the Pennsylvania chapter doing a big thing again? I'd love to drive onto the site, especially if i get my truck going.

 

Yeah, we're doing a gathering. I'm not sure how things fell through last year as they did, but hey we'll get it worked out this year.
