I'm on my way home to Pittsburgh having just left Charlotte NC and my 99 e350 overheated. Ive lost oil pressure. Is there any hope that once engine cools oil pressure will return or am I in really deep crap here. Im praying once it cools it will come back enough to get me home. Im stuck at a rest area on 77 north as I write this,450 miles from home. I'm desperate for any help or suggestions and it would be a real blessing right now. Not sure if rules prohibit this but im desperate so going to include my number seven two four four nine four one eight one seven.

I hope you got the help you needed. Losing oil pressure (if you are full of oil) is usually a major problem. Many years ago another Boy Scout dad had an E150 like mine. Oil pump shaft broke in his 4.6, I believe, and it trashed the cam bearings and a lot of other stuff.
