Here is the truck this morning.. They haven't even wet sanded or buffed it, and it looks like glass. The truck should be going together fast today. Also having the wheels taken off and refurbished tomorrow. the whole underside of the truck is getting rhino lined, and getting the brakes done and painted. I also have some other ideas which I'm working on as we speak.
That actually is a 1939 Ford Phaeton Convertible. Its all original never restored with the optional 85HP flat V8.
Awesome!
Does it have roll up windows or not?
On the 35/36 the 4 door convertible cars with a closed car (solid painted A pillars) windscreen and roll up windows are called by Ford a convertible sedan. If it had a roaster (bolt on angle back A pillers) windscreen and snap up windows it was a phaeton.
Well another update for the morning, the trucks almost back together. The only issue I saw this morning is they painted the grill blue and it was suppose to be black. So they will have to fix that. Also got the under carriage rhino lined.
