This is good. While I didn't choose the color of my truck at birth I did adopt it as a silver illegitimate son and will still love it almost as much as I love my other sons that I was involved in the birth of.
I may be a bit more "accommodating" than others on here who may not have had such a permissive upbringing. I freely converse with my son who drives a white GMC 2500HD Duramax when he's not in the LS1-swapped RX8 and I find that for the most part we can be civil (except when discussing the level of cleanliness in his room)
Those of us that own white trucks are completely aware of where we stand in the hierarchy. I believe we were chosen at birth to one day rise to the occasion of purchasing our far superior trucks. Most of us were taught not to gloat, or brag about our vehicles and some have even gone on to purchase "non-trucks" and even some clothing of the same color, all while remaining humble. I have even attended a few support groups offered for those forced to drive different colored trucks to show support and understanding. We feel for each and everyone of you and take solace in the fact that most of our brothers and sisters with other than white trucks still have the blue oval on the front grill.

Recently in the forums I've noticed a disturbing trend calling out certain color trucks to be somehow "superior" or "inferior" based solely on their color.
I'd like to propose an "Equal color amendment" to the forum rules to insure that every truck is treated with the due respect that it deserves regardless of it's color, age, mileage, or even place of birth.
Bill
Its time you realize the superior truck,,, SILVER...
They just tow, drive and preform better and longer,, they also take a hit better.
And get at least 10mpg better...
Lets keep it civil. I'd suggest a group hug but that might get me banned. I personally have a black truck and it's just as good as any other color with the exception of staying clean for more than 48 seconds.

Glenn, you summed it up perfectly except you forgot to mention that white trucks are also the fastest! (especially if they have the adobe trim!)
Maybe we can get our favorite Ford CSR Crystal to help all those with other colored trucks recalled and repainted white.
