I'm trying to get a sense of who has which springs out there. I ordered the Heavy Service Suspension pkg but my VIN indicates that it is not present, and the door jam sticker indicates a GAWR of 4800 lb for the front springs. My dealer says that everything is correct according to what was ordered. I need some data to fire back. If you are a V10 guy, please look in your driver side door jam at the upper left hand corner of the sticker and post your front GAWR and a short description of how your truck is equipped. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.
I currently own a 2002 V-10 CrewCab short box 4WD with Automatic. The front GAWR is 4800lbs according to my door sticker. The truck did come with the camper package ($160.00 option) however I do not think that affects the weight rating (not sure though).

The only way to get the X-code springs are with the snow plow package. The others usually will only place the highest rate for the options that you choose. Go to EDMUNDS.com and price a new truck, load the options menu and there is a INFO link that will pull up a menu that explains the option that you have selected. Since your V10 is lighter than a diesel you will only get the lower rate springs. Understand?? Mine reads 4400 GAWR with the T springs. '99 F350 V10 CC SB 4x4
