fuel issues

My 93 f150 5.0 has been having issues now since I drove it over the winter the front tank seems to make the truck stumble and when I hit the gas while in drive it sputters.....the rear tank works fine no stumbles or anything ....I also found fuel in the vapor canister and it smells while driving ....any help would be great

Just a wild guess, but it sounds like the front fuel pump is getting weak.. A fuel pressure gauge will tell the story...If you don't have one, borrow/rent one from an auto parts store..
I wonder if you have a fuel transfer problem with the front FDM, and the tank is over filling and getting into the vapor line...
