Really bad carb. Trying to limp it home from Seward when he bought it. Almost made it home. It wasn't to bad a fire. Plug wires and a couple vacuum lines and a new carb and will be good to go

BTW, good places to get parts for that -250:
Dennis Carpenter -I usually check these guys first. They have some good stuff for these trucks, I've spent a lot there.
National Parts Depot -Another good place, but they get some of their stuff from Dennis Carpenter, and then add to the price.
Stay away from LMC as much as possible. I've been burned by them 3 times, and I'm not the only one!
