Well that's pretty darn cool! Welcome to FTE and be sure to show lots of pictures and videos.
As Ray said, we would love to know the plans for your truck.

plans

Get the mechanical to 99%, 1st on list is put 4.10 R&P in the current 1961 Dana 70 that has 5.13. Going to pull carrier out and machine 3/16 off of flange to accommodate 4.10 ring. The carrier i have is for 4.56 & up, reason for machining. The Ring and pinion is still available with the un common .500 offset for Dana 70 (1957- 1973??).

The reason id rather do this is to keep stock 6 bolt budd wheels(non split) that happen to have been on truck when Dad bought in early 80's. Add the emergency lock brake that bolts to output side of clark tranny. The rear doesnt have emergency setup on backing plates. This setup was factory on 61 f350 i got rear from.
Want to also add the dual cylinder for brake system.
(Maybe) tilt front end to make it user friendly for the detroit diesel service and also the look.
Just added the 3 point belts
fix dash put all guages in factory cluster area.
also add reverse switch to shifter assembly and it will be up do date.
Buy the bed strips 275.00 from Mar-k steel cut and holes punched.
The bed is factory with embossed Ford logo, very clean, was never abused imo

Do you have thread on your 56 stake bed? dimensions on stake height, and size of wood. I see you got metal up front and wood on sides, notched 2x4 for pocket? Renato Sussex

Sorry, but no build thread. Height to top of stake is 31 inches for the F4 with nine foot bed. Different size beds are different heights. I used PT deck boards, 5/4 is the dimensions, I believe. BobJ has dimensions of the stake bed sides, I'll see if I can find it later.
The hardware for corners and sides is available from several large truck suppliers.
