My 05 has Glowshift gauges on the window pillar. All are analog except the digital fuel pressure gauge. It almost always reads 102 and that can't be right. Sometimes when idling at a stop light it might go down to 95 for a few seconds.Any ideas? Maybe wire grounding out from sensor?
I'd contact Glowshift and see if they can give you specs for testing the sensor. There should be a set ohm value at 0 psi and a set ohm for a higher reading such as 50 psi. I'd call them.
So, I am curious as to whether you got this resolved or not. I just installed a GlowShift 3 in1 and the digital fuel pressure reads 72+/- psi. Seems high but perhaps that is alright? Thoughts? Thanks, gm.
My digital fuel pressure gauge (SpaTechnique Gauge/Sensor) reads mostly between 64 and 75 - so 72 isn't abnormal. I would assume you have done the blue spring mod (which replaces the origin fuel pressure spring with a "blue" one that dumps up your pressure).

Haven't had the chance to troubleshoot it yet, vacation starts tomorrow after work. Hope to play around a bit with it, order new K&N filter, don't know how long the current one has been on the vehicle.

K&N filters are a no no for our trucks.
stock is acceptable up to 500HP and filters the best.
our sensors do not like the oil that's in the K&N and our turbos don't like the extra particulates they let slide on by.
Easy rough check of a sensor like this is to install it to a air chuck fitting and see if it closly matches a regulated air pressure. It's a rough check only.
Call a salvage yard about a stock filter assembly.
