Hard Days Work

So this morning I get on FTE to do my daily checks, and I read this https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ddition-2.html about paredneck33(great looking truck by the way ) bad back and all is out washing his truck and making it look great. It made me feel bad, because I have been putting off my first good hand washing of the year for a while. Been through the wand wash at a couple car washes, but nothing like a good hand wash. So I tell the wife, that is my plan for this beautiful Memorial Day (THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT HAVE AND ARE SERVING!!!). We had no other plans and I washed her car as well, so she ended up helping. About 6 hours later we finished all three vehicles, my 2011 F-150 & 1994 F-150 and her Malibu. I just went out and took some pictures of the trucks and thought I would share. I know the '94 is on the wrong forum, but I wanted to share anyway. The last one is of a little custom work my dad did when he repainted it 10+ years ago now.

Now it is time to sit on the deck and enjoy the rest of the night.

Thanks for the shout out and the kind words. You too have some beauties on hand. I guess I should have mentioned that before I washed my truck I also washed my wife's car. Her's is a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL. Dressed in Deep Impact Blue.

Thank you!

I bought the '94 5 months before I turned 16(2000) with 48K miles. Starting to show some age in a few spots up close, but overall it served me well through high school and college. Now it gets the easy life as a very light driver. As I mentioned, my dad repainted it around 2005 and fixed some rust spots (classic Ford rear fender wells which regrettably is coming back) after it was repaired from hitting a deer one night. I have made sure to clean as much undercarriage as I do the parts you see everyday. It's my baby.

Yep, I totally get it. My baby is a Firebird I've had for 22 years. First car I ever bought. I nearly lost it in a 200 mph tornado late 2013. Boy, I'm glad it just skirted my house!
