4spd toploader tranny
i'm a "new" eb owner with a need to find a new shifter, etc. to fit a 4-spd toploader tranny... yet, i'm embarassed to say that i do not know what ford model it was yanked out of (it is in good shape however). anyone have a suggestion as to a good supplier? thanks

I really can't help you much. My '75 has a TL 4 that I kept from my '69. It is a Husrt shifter though. I say just get one to fit a mid '70 Mustang as you'll have to hack the tranny tunnel anyway, but I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can come up with some numbers.

Do a search for the toploader. There is a web site that can id it. I have one in my 70. Where did you get your short output shaft at? I have a Hurst shifter on mine. I built a cover out of metal.

my top loader in my EB is out of a 69 torino or falcon. use the site mentioned above.
