As mentioned earlier 5% or less with a good FICO score should be very easily obtainable. Have you tried a credit union? You could meet with a loan officer, run some numbers, get pre-qualified, then go find a vehicle that meets your needs. I personally would do without before paying 15%, but that's just my opinion.

One thing that may also help with stability is I, after leveling front to rear crank rear scissors down to the wood pads I use under them and then lower the front until I can slide a 1X8 between rear jacks and blocks and then raise front back to level. That puts a little more weight on the jacks, most are rated for enough weight. Also use enough blocking to avoid extending rear jacks more than about 3/4 of their lift range, much more stable that way. I carry enough blocking that I can have a stack 8 to 10 inches tall if needed. Also I am pulling a 16K 5'er with an 18 foot boat behind it with a F350 6.0 and yes I have had a few problems with it. After bullet proofing, they can be very reliable and pull very well.
