Broken hub?
Hey guys, so I think I may have broken my front locking hub on the passenger side of my '73 f250... Was going through a bog, hit a rock or something and got flung forward and my arm just so happened to push the 2wd to 4wd shifter from 4wd into 2wd, drove it out with some knocking coming from the front end, drove it slow in 4wd with the hubs locked and ha a buddy watch it and the hub is knocked out of place slightly and is slightly loose. The truck drives perfectly fine in 2wd with the hubs not locked, drove it home and drive it daily with no issues. Could I have busted my hub or could it be something else? Any advice as for things to inspect or check to narrow down the possibilities is heavily appreciated. Thank you
