dana 44 ifs question
I have a 85 f250 and today I replaced all the u joints and seals on the front axle. I noticed that the right side shaft had a spindle slinger and a thrust washer. The left side didn't have either pieces. I have looked through countless web pages and cannot find a parts breakdown that includes these 2 parts on the left side. Are these parts not needed on the left side? If they are needed where can a guy get them? There seems to be plenty of them available for Jeep, Dodge and Chevy but I didn't see any available for Ford..... Or are they all interchangeable?

Thanks you Infantry. I did learn today that most 44 parts are interchangeable between auto manufacturers. That makes it a little easier to find these parts not having to be brand ( ford, chev, jeep, etc..) specific.
