Mud Flaps?

Those are the ones I used. Work just fine. Just go to the hardware store for some decent allen heads and nylon insert nuts.
I got these. They fit like a glove, I know they were more pricey, but I didn't have to drill any holes
Originally I wanted something only to protect my 5th wheel, but soon found out my step boards were quite quickly/ easily covered with mud/ crud and also needed flaps.
Note: I ordered the shortest/narrowest set for my stock truck, both front and rear. They are more than adequate! they're also the ones without gleaming metal plates. By toning them down this way that personally helped me to accept them.
I installed them yesterday. While I'm still not thrilled with their big-rig appearance they do seem to be hardy.
Still early but I just went outside and snapped a few pics for ya. In my estimate they are plenty long enuf (maybe 7" off the ground).
My installation gripes: I fault Ford for the rear difficulties (the brace that must first be remove needed force to be reinstalled) and DuraFlap for the front (they provide a tiny plate that simply 'pinches' an existing plastic piece - I'd feel better with an actual brace of some sort). I also felt that the included installation instructions were poor - I wound up winging it.
Also of note, I used both metric (10-11-12 wrenches) and standard (? nut driver). Turn front wheels to one side or the other before beginning.
