Front Shocks
I've had my '96 F250 2 wheel drive for almost 2 years. A couple of month's ago, my front left tire felt like the truck was dribbling it like a basketball when it would get into some pavement with light bumps. I replaced the shocks(I have sinned) with the lowest priced shocks at the local parts store. It fixed it temporarily but when it warms up it is doing it again. Was I a cheapskate and should have put out a few more bucks on heavier duty shocks???

Try retightening the lower shock mounting bolts. If you can twist the shock and hear a clunking noise from the lower mount, the nut isn't tight enough and the shock bushing (metal) will bang the mount over small bumps. Mine did it and the noise came through the floorboard. Took me a while to figure it out after I too replaced the shocks. The stock bolts may be worn as well. Try replacing them with tighter fitting ones with NO threads where the bushing is. Cheers.
