P0472

Hey everyone. I have been getting what I feel is poor fuel mileage in my '02 F350 7.3. Usually 12mpg cruising around 75 on flats empty. 9-10mpg towing 5k going 60-75. Relatively easy on the pedal with my Edge in Tow mode. I have deleted the muffler and have a DIY cold air intake. I heard about cleaning the EBP so I attempted it. While doing so I stripped out the tube and broke the pigtail for the sensor. So I ordered new ones as well as a EBPS. Installed them all and now I get a P0472 code on the edge, which I didn't have before. I have checked and redid the connections from the pigtail to the sensor and they look good. the reason I ended up needing to new sensor is that the truck was started before I had the pigtail connected and it got torn of by the serpentine belt, but looked like a clean break.

Any suggestions at this point? Thanks!

Also, not sure if it is pertinent but I cleared the codes with the Edge as well as by disconnecting both batteries grounds. When the key turned in the code came on again, the truck doesn't need to be running for it to register.
