Whose using what oil??
I have a 2012 f-250 4x4 crew cab 6.2 liter, I use Mobil 1 in my other vehicles and was thinking the same for the truck? Any issues with that? What's your thought?? Thanks again!!

I use the Motorcraft 5W-20 Full Synthetic and a Motorcraft FL-820S Filter every 7,500 miles in my 6.2L Have since new.
I figure that they guys who designed the engine probably know what to put in it for oil.
I do my oil changes every 7,500 since my mileage is about 95% highway mileage to and from work. If I did a lot more stop and go or heavy towing I'd probably move down to a 5,000 mile interval.

Currently running Motorcraft Synthetic blend. But have only done the 1500 mile oil change. I plan on running Red Line Full Synthetic ever 5k miles starting at 5k.
I've run it in my 4.6 Mustang since 15k miles and had perfect compression and no wear at 60k.
I run Red Line in all of our cars.

We use Mobile 1 5W-20 full synthetic and the Motorcraft filter. Change at 3000 miles or 3 months, whichever comes first. About 90% of the annual mileage is towing relatively heavy, thus the 3000 mile oil change threshold. It might be a bit overkill but oil is relatively cheap.

I have been using Motorcraft Synthetic blend 5W20 and motorcraft FL820S filter for the last 20k miles of ownership. Don't see any reason to use something more expensive on my V10. Also if running extended intervals check the level. Between 3500 and 5k miles mine seemed to burn a qt.

Will be switching to Amsoil when its due for the next change..
Not sure whats in it now from the dealer I'm guessing Motorcraft maybe..

I have been using Motorcraft, Pennzoil Platinum, Ultra Platinum, Mobil-1 all in 5w20 Full Synthetic always with a Motorcraft filter.
I change the oil every 4 months or 4k miles.
Has anyone use or try Royal Purple or Valvoline SynPower full Synthetic oil?
