Hey there Hntr1000! And welcome to FTE! You need to cut the fenders! HEE HEE! Just kidding! You do need a mighty big lift though. For the ride, I would lean towards a suspension lift system of 6'' and if your not doing any extreme (body-flex) off roading, a 3" body lift. The twisting of the body will tear out the body spacers if you do too much crawling. Stay FAR away from lift blocks. If your axles are on top of the springs, you can have new pads welded on so you can move them below. Thats good for another 3" of lift. You'll want to add front and rear ladder bars to it, to cut down on wheel hop. You'll also want to rebuild the axles-hubs, bearings, U-joints (Dana or Spicer). And then have your driveshafts lengthened. There's a few odds and ends to do, but not as important as the above. Send us some pics sooooonnn! Talk with you later....
