What should the cranking compression be on an 89 302.

Highest and lowest readings should be within 20% of each other.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Mar-02 AT 00:53 AM (EST)]Just got done doing a test, they ranged from 160-170psi. Is this about the psi range they should be in? The engine has 157,000 miles on it.

Cranking Compression

I got a 1989 F150 302 108,000 miles and had it tuned up mechanic tested compression and had 125-130 on mine. Is this still pretty good or can I expect to need an overhaul soon. I'm hoping to get by another year or two. I pull a camper some will this cut down on the life of the engine even more???????
