Body Parts

Can you guys tell me if the body parts off of a 2 1/2 ton truck are the same as a 3/4 ton pick-up? I found one today straight as a pin , the headliner is also like new. It has a chrome grill with No dent . They look the same but thought i'd ask before i tryed to buy it ... Thanks John

What year are you refering to? Just remember to take a measuring tape and go nuts getting diamentions then compare them with your truck. From what I remember, some parts are interchangable. But without knowing the year it makes it kind of hard to tell you which ones.

Visually, the cabs, grills and doors are exact. The panels changed among the series of trucks seem to be the core supports, fenders, and inner wells . I recommend Marks suggestion when combing over the donor truck. Take pictures as well and refrence them against your truck.
