Not yet, Bill. I haven't done anything recently because of all the yard work. My daughter graduates from college on Friday, and then we are having a big party for her on the 6th so my wife has been working me like a dog in the yard. i'm hoping to get back on it soon.
Steve, do you need some new glasses??????
Cool about your daughter and I can understand now about not having time to work on your truck.
ugh, sorry Neil. I didn't realize you jumped in. my bad.
That's okay pal....
I am trying to get use to my new glasses that I picked up on Saturday. I have now become a member of the "older than dirt" gang because my new ones are......ugh....umm....... bi focals

welcome to the club. i don't use bifocals. i just buy 15 cheaters at the dollar store every few months or so. I lose/break them constantly. what's your number? 1.25?
With as much time as I spend in front of a PC or on my phone, surprised I don't need bifocals. I might find that out in a couple months though.
Well my issue is getting use to wearing glasses after about 26 years of mainly wearing contacts. When I found out a few weeks ago about the scratch on the cornea of my left eye, I started wearing my old glasses that the prescription was a couple of eye visits old. So just needing time to adjust to the correct script for distance and then figuring out where I need to hold my eyes and where to look through the lower portion of the lenses for up close.

That's what I did. I have two here at work, and 3 or 4 at home.

I tried the cheaters but they were becoming a pain the butt and when I needed them, I did not have a pair with me. I am actually a strong 1.0 but with the 1.25 things were a little shaper so that is what I have in my progressives.
My eye doc keeps telling me I'll eventually be out of contacts again, and exclusively wearing glasses. I've been wearing contacts for over 17 years now (got them in 97). My eyes haven't changed THAT much, but with this kind of job and such it's probably inevitable.

Why is that? I've had contacts for over 30 years now. Are your eyes that bad?
I'm thinking it's a ploy for her to talk me into Lasik or something along those lines. She keeps telling me that working on computers all day and the like will make my eyes deteriorate further. I am pretty nearsighted in that if I don't have correction (my glasses or contacts) I can't see more than about 2 feet in front of me.
