Peoria hasn't had a tornado in town since 1964 when one took out part of our subdivision.

It's that rais in elevation from the river, I tell people all the time that it causes some much weather turbulance east of the river

I've seen it raining cats and dogs at the crest of the bluff and nothing in Peoria.

I've also watched these massive storms come from IA and supposed to track right along 55/24 and it goes north or south
