1992 E-350 PSOM replacement

Hi guys,

seems i have to replace my PSOM unit. Why? -> Thread

Im in USA at the moment but a have a Canadian Van with a Kmh Odometer.

So my Question is:
Can i Pick a PSOM unit from a car with MPH and put it into my Odometer?

would that work or will it count Miles?

I forgot to Mention, it is a Diesel Van.
So Would it matter to take a PSOM from a Gas Van with Mph for my Diesel with Kmh?

You can but as noted below it would count miles.

It would now count miles so in that case no it would not work.
