I bought a '65 unknown
The warranty tag on the door after some cleaning.
The unknown PS box...Though it looks like some sort of Saginaw, just not the normal F100 one.
The tag on the valve cover of what I think is a pre 74 351W due to thermostat housing lower bolt access and dipstick placement at the front of the engine. I can't get to the block casting number due to the starter being in the way.
I think the Steering column is original because it seems close to me when I was sitting behind it. Anyone have the measurements how far it "should" stick out from the dash?
I appreciate all the help anyone on here can give me.
Thank You
The power steering gearbox is from a Ford truck, '68 - '79, and is a popular upgrade for trucks back to '65 (but no earlier).

Next Question: Does the frame VIN match the title? I see the possibility that the Warranty Plate may have been changed when the door was replaced.
Where is the frame vin? I haven't looked. I did not notice a clutch pedal hole as it is a C4 now.

It is a light stamping and therefore easy to miss. If you need to clean the metal up to see it, which is likely, don't use anything heavier than a powered wire brush. A grinder is too much.
You can see that the door's Warranty Plate is not from your truck, as you noted, there are no remnants of a clutch that used to be there.
