Is anyone running LT275/70R18E tires on their Super Duty's? My tires are about due for replacement and I'm not going to change the wheels so I'm keeping the stock size. If you are, what brand do you like or not like? I have the factory Uniroyal's that lasted pretty long but looking for something better.
I'm surprised no one answered as tires are always a hot topic around here.
That's the size I had on my '05 F-250 several years ago. The factory Continentals were terrible for anything other than smooth dry highway. I replaced them with Goodyear Silent Armors in the same size as yours and they were fantastic tires. Never had any problems with balancing them and they wore really well. The tread was more aggressive than the Continentals but they were excellent in rain, mud, snow, and everything else I put them through.
Yeah, I was thinking nobody liked me on this site. I did find another tire topic that had some 18" tire opinions. The majority of my driving is on the street and just a little off roading on dirt roads.
You'll get as many opinions on tires as you will of what truck is better. I recommend that you shop tires locally and see what your local tire shops stock. Get a good A/T tire, several great options listed in posts above. If you have a problem with a tire you will be glad to have a local tire dealer to bring them back to. Many will also offer free rotations for the life of the tires, but you may need to ask for it when making the deal.
I like the BFG AT's but next time I'm thinking I might try some Hankook ATM's. I put a set on my wife's F150 and right now they have 37k on them and will easily go to 50k.
Hi Craig - Ditto on what Lefty said! My 2015 came with Michelin LTX AT/2s and I love them - smooth and quiet on the highway and the got me through this horrendous New England winter we just endured. To look at them, you'd never think they'd bite in snow or off road but they're great!
Hi Jim, thanks for the Michelin review. Lots of choices out there but always good to get great reviews from members who have had good or bad experiences. On most of my cars, I normally don't think much about tires but for my truck and what they will cost, I want an educated decision based on my driving.

Funny thing Craig - I watch "Craigslist.com" regularly for wheels and tires - I'd like a more aggressive looking tire... more for looks than anything else. I see these Michelin's all the time - people who have purchased aftermarket wheels and tires immediately after buying a new truck and selling their stock ones with 1k or 2k miles on them for short money - worth a look!!!

Never thought about Craigslist. I'll have to take a look and see what is out there.

I've run BF Goodrich All-Terrain T / A KOs for 2 sets on my F350....325/65/18s and got over 60,000 miles on them. I had to put a new set of 285/65/18s on the factory 18 inch rims and then bought new wheels and tires because the federal government has decided it's not safe to put 35 inch tires on an 8 inch wide rim.
General Grabber AT2 are good. Quiet ride and they seem to eject a lot of rock though if on gravel. As well I have Goodyear silentarmor all terrains. They don't seem to eject rock and I have good traction as well as a good quiet ride. Both are load range E tires. The last BFG AT KO tires i had were on my old jeep and while they were good tires for the most part I find the General Grabbers to be almost exactly identical traction wise. That and I am getting those Grabbers for considerably less cost than the BFGs. All the tires seem to provide decent traction in all weather although i run winter tires with rims for all my vehicles so I don't generally run too much into winter with all terrains.
