treated bed wood

Thinking about replacing the wood in my 60 bed. I've had a sheet of diamond plate over the old wood. Tired of stuff sliding around. I was pulling a fertilize spreader one time with an engine laying in the back. The spreader started fishtailing on me and the engine started sliding from one side to the other as I was approaching a curve. I ended up out in a muddy pasture. Still havent got the smell off my seat.
Anyway, has anyone used the treated corral panels that are rough on one side and smooth on the other? They are about 5 and 7/8 wide and 7/8 thick. Truck is a daily driver and hauler with 352 engine and restoration in progress.

treated bed wood

I'd stay away from treated wood since the end result won't be as good. Usually coral panels are steel hence the name panel (one piece).

treated bed wood

jt; Whatever wood you are going to use,be sure you (air dry) for about 4 to 5 months prior to installing. To allow for (shrinkage). Just sticker it outside under cover. salt treated wood will (shrink) a lot.because of the process, Jim VA.
