Factory U-bolt size

Does anyone know the diameter of the OEM u-bolts? 9/16" or 5/8"?

According to bronco graveyard it's 9/16

Should be 9/16 on the front and 5/8 on the rear from the factory. I upgrade my fronts to 5/8 any time I have them apart.

I did some digging..

5/8" diameter

3.5" axle tube

and with my top helper 13.5" long

Is 13.5" long for the 2" (F250) or 4" (F350) blocks? I'm really not sure where to measure mine from? I need to get a set 1.5" longer than the factory F250's for the rear.

Answered my own question:
Stock F250: 5/8 x 3.5" x 10.5"
Stock F350: 5/8 x 3.5" x 12.5"

Just picked up an F350 set at Top Gun Customz for a great price. Good bunch of people. It was refreshing to see the ambitious front office girls (yes plural) jump under the truck in the parking lot with a tape measure to make sure they had it right.

I have the top helper leaf in my "F350" so they are 13.5"

I ordered my thru a local company to me and they will be here later today
